Advancing Compassionate Care: An Important Announcement About Small Animals
Town and Country is transitioning its small animal care program to Hops + Co. Small Animal Rescue—a local, foster-based organization dedicated to serving small pets like guinea pigs, bunnies, and rodents.
As Town and Country focuses on the growing needs of cats and dogs in our facility, Hops + Co. will continue providing expert, compassionate care for our community’s small animals. Though we remain separate entities, we’re proud to collaborate in support of all pets in need. We would like to thank Hops + Co. for welcoming our small animals.
Together, we’re working to ensure a smooth transition, which will be completed by January 1, 2026.

Boarding Services
We don't just offer animal adoption, we also offer one or multi-night stays in our boarding kennel facilities for both large dogs, small dogs and cats, at an affordable rate. We know your pet is family, which is why we ensure they receive the utmost care and attention they deserve, here at Town and Country located in Papillion.
Rehoming Assistance
Having to rehome a pet is always a hard decision. We offer several services to help owners keep their pets in their home.

If you are a pet owner requesting to surrender your pet to our shelter, you must submit a surrender application and wait to be contacted by a shelter representative. Our shelter often has a waiting list, as we try to assist as many animals as possible.

Town and Country Animal Rescue is proud to participate in Vets Get Pets Nebraska, a heartfelt program that helps eligible Veterans welcome a rescue pet into their lives.
Up to $350 in adoption expenses can be covered through this initiative. Because every hero deserves a companion who loves unconditionally.
