Mission and Vision:

Our mission, “Saving lives, connecting people and pets,” comes to life through volunteerism and deep community outreach that nurtures empathy, teaches responsible care, and builds a circle of support around every animal we rescue. Town and Country Animal Rescue meets children, families, and neighbors where they are, inviting them into the life‑changing work of caring for animals in need.

We envision a community where compassionate outreach and hands‑on education protect every vulnerable animal and inspire children and families to form lasting, life‑changing bonds with the pets that need us the most.

Our Goals:

Town and Country Animal Rescue’s buildings are more than 40 years old and beyond repair, limiting our ability to serve the animals, children, and families who rely on us. Over the next five years, we are committed to transforming our outdated space into a welcoming community hub... one that reflects our mission and strengthens the human–animal bond that supports mental and emotional wellbeing.  Our renewed campus will include safe, functional areas for animal care and adoption, along with dedicated spaces for community outreach and youth‑based programs that inspire compassion, teach responsible pet care, and help young people build confidence and connection.

By investing in our community and our infrastructure, we aim to expand our impact, supporting animal health through accessible services, keeping pets and families together, and empowering children and families to grow, heal, and thrive alongside the animals that need us most.
